The Kaikoura Lions Club has organised an interesting trip from Oaro through Glenstrae Farm (see www.4wheeladventures.co.nz ), along the coast through several properties and then over the hills and coming out through Inverness onto SH1 near the Leader River on Saturday March 3rd 2012.
This is a very rare opportunity to cross some spectacular coastal scenary.

9:30-10am start. Assembly at Oaro, opposite the Ocean View Motel / Alure Tearooms at 9:30am

Program:
Assemble at Ocean View for briefing and a 9:30 departure.
Trip will go through Trewin's Glenstrae, with a couple of stops for some great views, then through Prentice's place, and along the Claverley coast road through Handiside's Medina Station, then out through Wiffen's Inverness station and back to the main road at Parnassus.
A lunch stop is planned at Big Bush gully. - BYO lunch.
